When I first started working in the Fintech startup space as a UX Manager, it became evident early on that the only way to ensure scalability was to invest in a design system. Since we didn’t have the bandwidth to do this side-by-side with our project work, I knew we needed a simple, off-the-shelf solution as new employees came on board. Building a centralized repository of design assets, code snippets, and rules to help govern our work seemed like a daunting task at first. After exploring various in-house options, WordPress plug-ins and themes, even the possibility of hiring dedicated outside help, we settled on zeroheight.
