What Shapes My Perspective
Following my own cancer journey, I joined Blood Cancer United’s First Connection program to support newly diagnosed patients navigating the uncertainty I had just lived through. I also lead a team called Pay It Forward for the organization’s Light the Night event each year. Everyone deserves dignity, especially when life is uncertain.

I pitched the opportunity to senior leadership at Advisory Board, secured sponsorship, and joined a 24-hour healthcare innovation intensive at Mass General in Boston alongside doctors, clinicians, patients, engineers, and designers with the realization that no one sees the whole system alone.
